KIDZ AI, a Nasdaq-listed company worth about $2.4 million that used to run an online coding school for kids, says it sent Tesla a non-binding inquiry asking about pricing and availability for 500 Robotaxis — with no order confirmed and no allocation guaranteed, its shares instead fell more than 7% to a fresh all-time low.

KIDZ AI began as Classover Holdings, an online coding-education startup for children, before rebranding. The announcement is part of a preliminary strategy to acquire autonomous vehicles and move into commercial ride-hailing.

The company says it sent Tesla an inquiry asking about pricing and availability for 500 Robotaxis, but stressed this is a non-binding expression of interest with no guarantee of allocation or delivery. Whether the plan advances depends on acquisition costs, operating requirements, regulatory conditions and expected revenue, the company said.

The market reaction was cold — shares dropped more than 7% to a new all-time low right after the announcement.

Electrek compared the move to how some struggling companies previously leaned on "bitcoin treasury" pivots to ride a hot theme, suggesting the Robotaxi wave is now spreading to microcaps with no real Tesla business relationship. For Tesla shareholders, it's a reminder to separate theme-chasing noise like this from genuine signs of Robotaxi fleet demand.
