Tesla publishes EU FSD Supervised data — 5.2x fewer collisions than manual driving

The gap was widest on highways: Tesla says FSD Supervised logged zero collisions over 41.9 million km, versus 88 collisions over 429.3 million km for manual driving with active safety features — an 8.5x margin. On non-highway roads, the gap narrowed to 2.8x, with FSD Supervised at 6 collisions over 23.8 million km versus 368 collisions over 514.5 million km for manual driving.
Tesla also reported 13.4x fewer automatic emergency braking interventions, 9.2x less harsh acceleration, 7.1x less harsh braking, and 7.6x fewer hard swerves under FSD Supervised.
The figures are Tesla's own, without independent verification from regulators or third parties. In June, Reuters and Electrek reported that Tesla had presented Swedish and Dutch regulators with claims that FSD could save 32,000 lives a year — statistics that 10 of 11 independent traffic-safety researchers who reviewed the methodology called misleading marketing rather than a rigorous safety study, adding context for how this new dataset should be read.
